Meet Lowe

I am proud to be representing Carroll, Gibson and Madison counties in the Tennessee Senate, where my work is guided by the strong sense of family and faith I learned while growing up in Dresden.

My father, Rick Finney, has owned and operated a sixty-year old family business, Finney's Floor & Home Center my whole life. My mother, Amy, has taught at Dresden Elementary School for almost 30 years. My sister, Lauren, a social worker, and her husband, Zach Dunlap, live in Paducah, Kentucky. From my family, I learned about the importance of hard work and a good education

I attended the University of Tennessee-Martin, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I continued my education, receiving a law degree from Saint Louis University.

I am an attorney in Jackson at the firm of Spragins, Barnett and Cobb. My clients are mostly working people who are concerned about living paycheck to paycheck, worried about losing their health care coverage, and trying to send a child or grandchild to college. I have worked to make sure my clients are treated fairly and that they are represented by someone who empathizes with the problems that working families face every day.

I've always enjoyed the classroom. Since 2001, I've often taught courses on civil rights, business law and ethics, and campaigns at Lambuth University and Lane College in Jackson. I am currently guest lecturing at Bethel University.

In July of 2008, I was blessed to marry my wife Tiffany. A graduate of Union University, Tiffany is a former social worker and is now a certified personal fitness instructor and nutrition consultant.

We are members of the First Baptist Church in Jackson where we make our home.
